Our Process

Inquiry/Booking


Choose a package that best suits your need needs. Complete Inquiry request and submit. Or go to the booking tab and book your session. A 50% non-refundable retainer fee is required at booking. ( Slots are not secured until retainer fee has been received). Contract will be emailed right after the booking is confirmed for signature. No service will be provided without a signed contract.

Full amount is due a day before the session.

Discuss Location + Date and Time + Other details/Questions


We will discuss location + Date and Time + other details or questions you might have once an inquiry has been sent.

I will travel 30 miles from Willmar. An extra travel fee will be added after that.

Gallery Delivery


You will receive the full digital gallery fully retouched with print release.You will be able to download the number of images included in your package. Addition images can be purchased at $5 each. No obligation to buy.

Turn around time is 1-2 weeks



FAQ

How many pictures will we receive?

Each individual package includes anywhere between 20-100 images.

What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?

Ideally the best time to have a session with a newborn is during the first 2 weeks after birth, for those cute peaceful sleeping portraits. Session can last 1.5-2 hours to allow time for feeding, diaper changes, and comforting.

What type of payment do you accept?

I accept Venmo, Apple Pay, debit card or
cash.

How should we dress for our family session?

Opt for soft, neutral colors such as cream, beige, grey, or pastel shades. These colors won't distract from the main focus of the photos, which is you and your family.
While you don't need to match exactly, it's a good idea for parents and siblings to coordinate their outfits.

Steer clear of clothing with busy patterns or large logos, as these can be distracting in photos.

Stick to classic, timeless styles that won't look dated in the photos years down the road. Avoid overly trendy clothing that may not stand the test of time.
Ultimately, the most important thing is for everyone to feel comfortable and confident in their outfits so they can focus on enjoying the special moment during the session.

We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?

I understand that leading up to the day can be overwhelming, but I'm just a message away if you're feeling anxious or have any questions or concerns.

What is your style?

My style is natural dark and moody.
I go through each photo and do light retouching ( blemishes and color correction) to make sure you and your family look your natural best. I do NOT do glamour edits.

What if my baby is ill on the day of the shoot?

No worries at all, please let me know as soon as possible if you or your baby are ill and we can arrange another date that is suitable for you.
